Enjoy a sneak peek of Chapter 2, Why Talking Boldly Matters
Many people shy away from talking with others about difficult and sometimes controversial social, cultural, and political topics. Many of us fear we will say the wrong thing and unintentionally offend someone. Others fear becoming too emotional, while some are concerned about the possibility of negative repercussions of stating our views or experiences in front of others, especially in the workplace.
Talking Boldly™ is designed to provide participants with the skillset to take bold steps toward overcoming differences and respectfully engage in challenging conversations with open hearts and minds. Learners will come away with new approaches to having difficult conversations that are safer, more educational, and more productive.
Talking Boldly™ is a 30-minute interactive course comprised of 8 chapters that build upon one another designed for groups and must be delivered by a group facilitator using the accompanying Facilitator Manual. This course is not available for individual purchase. Group sessions can run between 1.5-2.5 hours to provide for meaningful discussions and can be held virtually or in person. Post-session, each participant will be provided access to the video course to complete the quiz, which marks the completion of the course. Included in this course is the handout, Talking Boldly Guidelines.
Bulk seats and outright purchases are available on our online LMS or via SCORM files for organizational learning management systems.
